This package is perfect for those who are serious about making their fashion brand a reality. Through 1-on-1 coaching you'll learn how to implement my 7 step strategy which takes your ideas through through the development stages + into production....

Who is this package for?

This package is for people who are serious about getting their fashion ideas into production. It's best for people who are either at the idea stage, or who have tried to get a product into production + either didn't have much success, or weren't able to create products at an affordable price, or with an effective production system. The step by step process I've developed is designed to guide you through the production stages + take you from ideas to having a product that's in the manufacture stages, we'll even cover options for having your stock delivered to you, ready to sell.

Keep in mind that there are only limited places available on this programme, so that I can ensure that I can spend enough time with each person, therefore if you are interested I would advise securing your place as soon as possible.

What do I get?

Each step has been strategically designed to give you an in depth look at a particular process. You can pick and choose which stages you’d like to do, or you can select all of the modules and benefit from the 25% off package discount.

Each one of the steps comes with a 1hr private consulting session with me via phone or Skype + valuable extras, which vary between the steps. For example, some steps require me to personally give an in depth review of your proposal, or time to create your road map, while steps come with free workbooks, checklists or templates. One of the key benifits of the programme is having someone to guide you through the stages + at the end of each step you'll have a personalised action plan that you can follow in order to be ready to move on to the next step. Here’s a brief overview of the steps;

Step 1; defining your target customer, brand + business aims

You may have done this already, but ensuring that your ideas are really focused is the best way to start. Having an unclear objective makes it really hard to succeed as a business+ will cause a lot of problems when it comes to negotiations, marketing + sales, so it’s best to iron these things out at the start.

Step 2; Roadmap

After we've established what you would like to achieve with the business and who you want to cater to, I can then help you with a ‘roadmap’ – put simply, I can outline the steps that I believe will be the best for your business. For example, the production methods that are best to use, the overall strategy + the action you need to take to move forward.

Step 3; Design review

When you’ve got an understanding of what you want to produce, who it’s for + how you make it, you can then start designing. When you have some design ideas, I can then take a look at them from a professional point of view + consider things such as, does this meet the target customer’s needs, will it be possible to make within the budget, how will it be sold + so on. We’ll also speak about technical documents that you can prepare.

Step 4; Finding a manufacturer + fabrics

This is one of the main things that new entrepreneurs struggle with, how to find a factory that has the capability to produce their items + how to approach them. I’ll provide you with some links to help with your factory finding + arm you with the knowledge to communicate them like an industry professional.

Step 5; Manufacturer review

The next stage is another hard one; negotiating with the factory. I always recommend reaching out to several potential suppliers to get ideas of what they offer and their pricing. But I often find that their quotes include different things, for example some may include fabrics while others don’t. I’ll review the responses from your 4 best factory options + help you to understand what they’re offering + let you know if there’s ways to improve the price.

Step 6; Sample fittings

You may have heard me say that sample fittings is one of the most important steps you can take. In this session, I’ll help you to fit 3 samples + complete the paperwork required for the factory to make improvements. We’ll also discuss things to look out for when doing fittings in the future.

Step 7; Packing + shipping

Probably the most unglamorous part of the process, but a very important one. Often new business owners find they spend so much time developing the product, they forget about the less exciting considerations, such as shipping the stock, where it will be stored, if you have to fill out a customs declaration + so on. This final session gives you the knowledge to make sure your stock ends up in the right place!

Each one of the steps comes with a 1hr private consulting session with me via phone or Skype + other extras, which vary between the steps. For example, some steps require me to personally give an in depth review of your proposal, or time to create your road map, while steps come with free workbooks, checklists or templates.

What are some of the benefits of this programme?

No experience required;

If you’re a total newbie you will learn the skills you need to get your clothing ideas into production

Step by step 1-on-1 guidance

Each one of the 7 steps includes a private consulting session, so the strategy + ‘roadmap’ is totally tailored to your unique situation.

Learn to avoid common mistakes new businesses make + save money by doing so

There are so many traps that new businesses fall into + often spend unnecessary time + money on things they think they must have. You’ll learn how to avoid these + also things to look out for when working with a supplier + avoid ‘horror stories’ like the one I outlined last week (where a new entrepreneur handed over $4000 to a sample maker + then weeks later still hasn’t received any communication from them). We’ll cover the best ways to protect yourself + minimise the risk.

Get actionable steps

You don’t have to feel like you’re in the dark. With my help, we can map out a plan that works for you + at the end of each session you’ll know exactly what you need to do next. Each 1-on-1 session comes with an email summary + specific steps for you to take before the next call, so that you can move your business closer to your goals.

Payment plan option

If you’re not able to pay for the whole programme upfront, that’s ok. You can choose to pay for each step separately, with no contract or obligation for the full programme + take the steps whenever you’d like. You don’t have to complete the steps within a certain time frame, you can work to a schedule that suits you.
