+ I'm a brand new startup, is this the right course for me?
If you're brand new and haven't developed a product yet, you'll probably find my Fashion Startup Online Course more useful, as this also helps you with the design, production and business side of things. Plus, this course is included! You can click here for more details on the Startup Course.
+ What else do I need to budget for
There aren't any other financial oblications to me that you have to pay for and you don't need to buy extra things in order to learn from the content - as long as you have a device with internet connection, you can complete the course. Excel is useful too, but not essential. + Do I have to buy anything else from you?
No, not if you don't want to. I do offer other services that you may find helpful, such as 1-on-1 consulting help, but there's no obligation and I won't be trying to sell these services in the course
+ What do I need to complete this programme?
a device with internet connection (smartphone, computer or tablet will all be compatible)
Microsoft Excel is really useful when running a business and some handouts are in this format, but it's not essential for learning the course content
+ How long does the course take
There are 13 videos in total, with over 4hrs of content which you can watch at your own pace. You have unlimited access to the videos and files, so if you want to take things slowly, or rewatch the videos it's not a problem.
+ How is the programme structured, do I have to be available at specific times?
No, the content is available any time, day or night - so if you have the urge to complete the course at 5am, you can!
+ How do you take payment, is it secure?
Payment is very secure, I use Paypal for all of my invoicing, so I don't receive or have access to any of your card details. You can checkout as a guest, you don't have to register for a Paypal account if you don't have one.

+ What are the terms and conditions?
There aren't any strict terms and conditions, but I do have a contract to explain that any content is for the purchaser only, the files or videos cannot be shared, copied or distributed in any way and also to clarify my service to you. + Do I need experience in fashion or marketing?
Absolutely not! If you already have some experience that’s a bonus, but I’ve specifically designed the programme so that you don’t have to have any existing industry knowledge. The videos explain step by step and the downloads will help you to understand the entire process. If you get stuck, you can even ask questions in the handy Q+A section and also see questions that fellow students have asked.
+ Is this open worldwide?
Yes absolutely, the steps would be the same for anyone, no matter where they live, so the programme is suited to students living absolutely anywhere! My courses currently have students from all over the world.
+ Do I really need this?
In honesty, no. You could start a fashion business on your own like I did and spend your time figuring all of these things out for yourself. You could spend hours reading lots of information, going to school and learning and paying business mentors for 1-on-1 time. Or, you could save yourself the hassle and take this short course, which covers all of the key things that I have learnt and used (either myself and/or with clients) over the years.
+ I already have a business and have made some sales. Is this course suitable for me?
If you're making lots of sales and you're selling more than you expected, this may not be the right course for you and working with me 1-on-1 will probably be more effective for you. But, if you've not made the sales that you wanted to or are finding it hard to attract customers who buy, then I think you'll get a lot of value from this course.
+ I have a full time job, will I have to quit?
No absolutely not! I had a full time job when I launched my company too and it can be a great option to have some money coming in so you can fund the business. There’s no fixed schedule so if you need extra time to watch the videos or complete the steps that’s absolutely fine – you can go at your own pace.
+ How is this course different to others?
There's a lot of courses out there which teach you how to grow your Instagram following, Pinterest following, etc, but there's very little information on how to grow a successful fashion business and attract customers who buy. In order to sell product, you need to think past social media. This course gives you a step by step strategy which you can use to attract loyal customers for your brand. And, you can do it in a way which doesn't require you to spend all of your time on social sites.
+ Will I receive advice on how to grow my social media following?
You will receive some information on social media, but how to grow your following isn't the focus of this course, simply because a large social media following doesn't automatically mean you'll get lots of sales. This course is focused around actually getting paying customers, rather than getting large social media followings.
Who's your teacher?
Hi, I'm Vicki! I'm the founder of 29andSeptember Studio and the teacher of this course. Prior to setting up 29andSeptember Studio, I worked in the fashion industry for 12 years and was fortunate enough to be able to work for a variety of companies and in different roles including Public Relations, Buyer, Designer, Merchandiser and more. As well as working for major retailers such as the Arcadia Group (Topshop/ Dorothy Perkins), Zara and French Connection, I also worked in house for high end designer Alice McCall and at over 50 fashion shows worldwide.
Most importantly, I also started my own fashion business back when I was younger and I can really relate to those of you who are struggling to get customers. I did too at the start. I started this company and created this course because I found it was really hard to get honest, reliable advice if you were new to the fashion industry. Even though I started my company with a tiny budget and little experience, I grew it to a label that had loyal and happy customers worldwide, was stocked in shops on 4 continents and was featured in the Vogue Diaries, Look Magazine online and other media outlets. I love helping other startups to do the same and fulfil their dream of having their own fashion brand.
The content I teach in this course is the same system that I’ve used to build my own successful business and also that of my 1-on-1 coaching clients.
